Safari extensions should absolutely be boycotted for the reasons explained by Jared! If you want a compatible and open browser, please use Firefox.

Sebastian: I'm not boycotting anything, and as I've said multiple times I don't really care about open-source or not. I just don't want to pay a developer fee for a hobby. If Apple goes back to their old policy of allowing browser extensions without a paid developer account I'll be happy to port to Safari, you can install unsigned extensions, but due to the fact they don't auto-update, and sometimes randomly stop working its not worth the overhead for me at this time.

Unfortunately Apple requires an Developer Account for creating and maintaining Safari Extensions. At this time I'm not willing to have an ongoing cost to developing Graze beyond my time. If Apple's policy changes or there is a significant increase in donations to cover the recurring annual costs, I'll consider supporting Safari.
